The conversation
The man behind Bulletinman.
Jeff Weinhaus published The Bulletin and reported on allegations of local corruption in Missouri. In 2012, he survived a police shooting during an arranged arrest. He was later convicted of assaulting an officer and other offenses and received concurrent sentences including a 30-year term.
Jeff disputes the case against him. In this conversation, Mark Edge asks about his reporting, the promised return of his equipment, the shooting, the witnesses, and his effort to have the evidence examined. Jeff also speaks about his family, his faith and the years of life he has missed.
